Rob’s interest in posture came about while training in voice production and speech development at Drama School. He has spent the last fourteen years, working with people of all ages and professions, from all over the world, helping them to achieve and maintain correct posture. Using his wealth of experience, as well as principles from the Alexander Technique and more recently Pilates, he teaches an awareness and understanding of how to perfect body alignment and the huge benefits it brings to both physical and mental health. Rob’s passion for posture enthuses others as they learn the knowledge and skills needed to be free from pain and stress.
Rob provides a perfect mix of theory and practice to enable you to really feel a personal development, both physically and mentally. He uses traditional principles from The Alexander Technique and Pilates and combines them with his own methods and unique approach, developed over the last fourteen years, to give a truely enlightening experience.
Rob is posture and Pilates instructor at the Anxiety Recovery Retreats and general posture and physiological adviser to the organisation.
Qualifications: CYQ Advanced Mat-based Pilates Instructor. CYQ Occupational Standards Knowledge L3 ‘Anatomy and Physiology’. Postgraduate Certificate in Mentoring and Coaching. Certificate in Education. NVQ/RSA Fitness/Aerobics Instructor. BSSD 3 Year Professional Diploma in Acting and Voice.
